The idea is down our small frontage road to setup vertical wind turbines, it uses a 3 . Each pole has 3 branches on each branch is a different sized vertical turbine. Each makes the most of various speeds of wind to collect energy for lighting in the night and to send power into the power grid during the day once the batteries for the lights are recharged. Adding solar collectors to the towers makes good use of the towers as well, when there is no wind at least the towers generate power still. The lights would use LED bulbs future stretching the energy made. Each wind tree, has a very small ground foot print, no spinning propellers to avoid, lower maintenance comparison to horizontal wind systems. Vacuum tube solar water heaters create hot water, to be stored and used, to heat the Post Office, Convenience store, hotel and other buildings. Heat could be used in winter months to heat the frontage road melting the snow/ice road saving gas/diesel that would be used in snow/ice removal. The combination would demonstrate 3 major generation systems in one system. Adding a information board with signage and amounts of power made and explaining the systems would help educate our small town, increased tourism, there by increasing money made in the town so it
Money gained from the project could then be turned into creating more and demonstrating that wind can help even small community's. With the loss of so many trees due to wild fire in May of this year, plus beetle kill the wind has become stronger in our area. Wood industry jobs have decreased, family's are hurting from the lost revenues. Green Energy and systems could help our economy, help the people in my town and make an genuine impact in reducing greenhouse gas's and emissions. Teaching small towns about wind and solar is just smart business.Demand from the citizens of our planet is to get green, become energy lean. These wind turbines would provide power, generate money, educate, and demonstrate going green is possible in rural areas.
