Free workshops online and in your school or business!

PHUG - Open Source Culture, is an open source community whose focus is to bring designers and developers together, both student and professional. It is our goal to raise awareness of open source alternatives, bring open source education to the class room and office place, and collaborate with other open source communities. PHUG offers many FREE Workshops and hosts a wide range of open source events and user groups.

Big things are happening!

We are undertaking a major redesign of the site, and we are going to be moving in a new direction!

We will be adding all kinds of new features including online workshops and tutorials. As our community grows it has become more apparent we need to offer more services online for all our members who are not from the Toronto and now Montreal area (which at this point is majority).

We are hopping to re-launch soon, and we are looking for bloggers & turtorialists to write for us, and asking for any ideas you have about something we may be missing...

It is our goal to receive funding to help us build a better online community, to rent or find permanent space for workshops and events, to be able remunerate speakers, presenters, and volunteers.
