Ottawa Cheer Elite is a non-profit cheerleading organization located in Orleans, Ontario. Our programs are open to all youth between the ages of 4 and 21. We have recreational and competitive cheer, dance and Pro Cheer programs available with subsidized spots in each to help out families that need it. Our priorities are inclusion of our youth into an activity that will promote healthy active lifestyles as well as to foster the growth and awareness of this sport as well as its benefits phsically and emotionally. We have prorams for self esteem and healthy body image as well our athletes learn imortant life skills such as team work, committment, time management, accountability, respect for others and a strong work ethic. Individual payments plans are always open to those that apply. We don’t ever want a child to say they can’t be involved because of money. We will work with all families to ensure that something is workable for them. Competitive teams train to perform a two and a half minute choreographed routine incorporating dance, gymnastics, acrobatic stunts and jumps. Cheerleading is an incredible team sport as it requires much training as a unit to be successful. Our fundraising efforts this year will go towards maintaining and expanding our subsidy program so as to include as many children as possible. Your help with this will be more than appreciated and is for, what we feel, an extremely good cause. We would also love to get into our own space so that we can expancd our programs to reach even more people. We have grown out of the schools yet still have challenges finacially to get started in our own facility. Ottawa Cheer Elite is dedicated to excellence and quality as well as an unwavering mission to help out our and surrounding communities, business and charities. We continue to get involved in as many charity events as possible, mostly with our pro cheer program and hope to increase our community services this season. Teach our kids the art of "giving back" is one of our top priorities. Please help us bring this dream to reality for our members.
