Photos of a few Newbark rescued and adopted dogs added. We have a 7 acre property in our sights. The current owners are asking only $50,000 down. We have an RPF (registered professional forester) ready to do a partial logging plan that will make a little money and clear areas for the PACK HOUSES we have planned. There is an underground spring that will be the water source, as well as rain barrels for the outlying PACK HOUSES to keep plumbing costs to a minimum. This is a well-thought-out, environmentally friendly project that is ALL ABOUT KEEPING PETS SAFE. Upon the owner's death or infirmity, pets are often dumped at the local pound and if they are older, euthanized. The focus of the Pet Sanctuary would be taking care of pets that survive their owners and need a welcoming place to go. Owners will get peace of mind knowing that the Trust Fund they setup for their pet will be used to care for their pet by other animal lovers in a homey atmosphere. Pets can stay at the Sanctuary indefinitely but adoptions are sought and the pet's Trust Fund follows him or her into their new home. The Sanctuary would also be accessible as temporary housing for pets whose owners are without a home, in transition from an abusive relationship, or other situations. The Sanctuary would also be accessible as temporary housing for rescued pets through Newbark Canine Rescue and Rehoming Society and other societies as requested and approved.
